The Tiger Hunt is an 8 day tour of Tasmania bookended by overnight sailings on the Spirit. Hunters are issued a guiding itinerary and are required to make their own accommodation and Spirit arrangements independently. You can follow the tour closely, or loosely in a custom plan that suits your interests, budget and stamina.

The 2020 route is clockwise with overnight stops at Bicheno x 2, Port Arthur, Hobart x 2 and Queenstown x 2. The full tour is 2,700 kms and a daily description was published in August Desmoto. A schematic route can be viewed here

A registration deposit has been set at $220 for riders and $200 for pillions. It will be applied later to a spread of things including breakfast at our initial briefing in Devonport, Bruny Island and Corinna ferries, our Tiger Hunt Dinner in Hobart, a group dinner in Queenstown on Day 7 and a pre-ordered lunch on Day 8. A custom refund on any of these items is available until December 15 should you vary your itinerary.

Registration this year also includes an event T shirt – available in a choice of red or black and based on the popular bike matrix design of 2013.

Trip Notes will be issued at the close of registration. They contain full itinerary detail and stay recommendations. Hunters are encouraged to act promptly once received.

A contact list will be distributed within the group to assist interaction and sharing initiatives. The default is you are on the list...please advise promptly if you want your email or mobile withheld as the list will go out in the first email.

A standby list will be created in the event that demand exceeds places.  The contact for this and other queries is Geoff Salmon: gsalmon@bigpond.net.au or 0408 533152.

Tally Ho!
