Traralgon Weekend Ride after Long Weekend Non Long weekend Ride (13 Jun 2026)

This new weekend away after a long weekend weekend away ride is the second in a series of weekend rides after a long weekend away. This one is simply a two day ride with an overnight stay in Traralgon. Departing Saturday out of Butler’s, Rowville returning Sunday finishing in Pakenham. Each day will be approximately 350kms with hopefully some new roads to discover.

Saturday’s ride will wander the hills of the Dandenong ranges through Powelltown to lunch in Yarragon. From here we will meander south through Thorpdale , Mirboo North , Boolarra and Churchill before popping out in Traralgon South.

Sunday’s ride will see us travel the magnificent scenery of the Tarra-Bulga National park and then the coastline through Welshpool, Foster and Fish Ck with a quick stop at Agnes Falls. Lunch will be in Tarwin Lower at the Bird & Wolf café. From here it’s an easy coastal cruise through Inverloch and Wonthaggi before heading back up into the hills for a final run through Blackwood forest, Bena, Kongwak and Poowong. Ultimately finishing up in Pakenham.

Hopefully this will be a fun weekend away without the hassle of long weekend away returning traffic and ‘Long Weekend’ prices. Naturally it will be a little cool but to quote Billy Connelly “there is no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing choices”. So wear a few extra layers.

Our June General Meeting, which is also the AGM is at the Manningham on the 18th of June. The AGM is always fun, and an opportunity to support those members who volunteer to be on the committee
This year we have door prizes of $200, $100 and $50 – you can’t win it if you’re not in it!
